Group 1

               Cukvaguaq heal our cold sore, Maggie said, "we have to rinse our mouth with the Cukvaguaq." And they heal our chicken pox. How do they heal our cold sore? The female dogs anaq (poop) is healthy for human. They're good for redneck's. You have to pull it, then eat it. Rub the anaq around your neck then throw it. Why did they use anaq and why did they eat them? How do we have to spread the anaq on our body? Qanganaruaq makes our boil infection heal faster.They used to drink Qanganaruaq when they were sick and they used it for maqii (steam bath) . How did it help heal our sick. They use to boil quagciit's before they make akutaq. Why did they boil the quagciit? After they boil the quagciit they rinse them in the drainer. They boil the ferns like the quagciiq's.  Why do they boil them first? When the quagciit are orange, they are already dry. They only pick the ones that are green. She cuts the ones that have orange on them. They used cottons to drain ears. They heal our redneck, their back ear. Why did the make the cotton old and yellow? What did they do with the black cotton? For example, Maggie said that you could rub it around your neck.

Group 2

The hole on his lung hurt him really bad the medicine we need, trying look for medicine,   Boom, One day, Bobby woke up he had a hole in his lung, he struggled breathing, we tried to look for alders around us, but I couldn't find alders. All of us had to go a mile long to look for Alders. The Alder had small,black spots every where on the tree. Tony had to cut the outside of the alder so, we can boil the outside of the alder, Nanu said " My mom would kill me if I drink alder medicine!,". Then, we had to put water on the kettle. After, tony put water, larry had to put the Alders in the kettle, Until it boils, if the water is dark, kavv had to take the kettle off the fire. Finally, I  had to cool down the alder medicine by taking the kettle outside. if the alder medicine is cold, bobby have to drink 4 cups of Alder's a day, in the morning, afternoon, dinner, and before you sleep. Now I know how to heal a hole in my lung, I know how to survive when I'm dieing.

Group 3

 

I got busy trying to build my steam house then I decided to make it then I finally finished building my steam house yesterday, And I finally was able to get clean, . However, When I woke up this morning I had a boil on my arm "ouch, my boil" I said . "Gonna go get some cotton over there and we'll be done in one time" my partner said, I went out on a tundra and I looked for Labrador tea, Cotton, and Alder and the Cotton was flying in the sky. "What do I have to do with the Cotton?". When you have boil's, do we have to have Labrador tea? Will it heal when u have it? Do we use cotton to cover our boil? Does our boil stay for 10 days?

 

Group 4

     

   Today is August 27 2121, later,  we thought one of our gruop member was going to die, we had  one of our group member with dangerous chickenpox. But we had no clinic, and Kaeleelah kept saying "that she knew how to clear the chickenpox had nothing to heal it with, the one who had chickenpox was Vanessa and said "I fell Ill" and Kaeleelah said "the chickenpox  will take about two days" . we had no money, and store with things to heal it with. Then suddenly we had remembered what Maggie Slim said. She said "that we had to use cotton to heal the chicken pox off." Also they're are too many plants that can heal others, but not just the chicken pox. Then we went out to go get a lot of cotton that were kissing the mud out there on the small, green island. Then after a while, we went to the same spot, where we came from. We let the cotton stay on the chicken pox for one week, then the chicken pox had healed. Vanessa was really scared because she thought it was going to kill her.

Kaeleelah quickly put the cotton on Vanessa after we covered them. And Vanessa said "ouch "

 

 

Group 5

 

"Oh my god! Go and find cotton. Hurry, Hurry! Ouch! I have a cut," screamed Keisha.

"The plant that will heal my cut is white cotton", maggie said. "We can find the cotton somewhere on tundra", carl responded. We know that we can find it near tundra or villages because we learned by interviewing an elder who taught us. And cotton sometime grows around the villages but near tundra begging for water. If we wanted to heal our cut, we would have to put the cotton over our deep cut. But, before I put it over,  I stretched the cotton as flat as paper so it would fit perfectly over my cut like a moose covered in fur. However,  The cotton is a home made band aid, but found on tundra. "Its so cool", Shaylene said. I survived my deep cut, and know how to heal myself.

Group 6

I couldn't  swallow because I ate something that I was allergic to something I never knew,therefore I had to rub dog anaq on my neck so that it could improve my swallowing.I had a cold sore so I went to go pick red berries and placed them in the back of my mouth and kept them for at least 23 to 30 minutes.I layed in the grass and got a rash on my neck.So then,I would go pick up cotton to put it on my neck so it could heal quicker than usual.Im truly glad that I got to get anaq for my neck and I got cotton for my rash.
