               First, they used muskrat, mink, rabbit, beaver to make parkas. They put oil inside the skin. Next, they used moose and reindeer muscle for their thread. They made shoes out of grass. They used skin to make t-shirts. They dried the skin from the animals so they could make clothes for people. They made muskrat clothes for them to warm them up. They took beavers to make parkas. The boots they used to use were waterproof. But the other boots weren't waterproof. They used animal fur to make snow pants. The men, their husband and sons go hunting for their food and clothes.

Group 2

A bear attack us when Bobby ran across the river ahead of us the bear ran fast as Bobby. The big, scary bear ripped all of our clothes.  Brr, Our clothes were ripped and torn into piece because we got surprised by a  big scary deadly grizzly bear around our small camp, we are going to make our new clothes don't panic Bobby. Tony and Larry had to make our new clothes by animal furs. But, Nanu had to hunt them with our new weapons that Clinton made. Nanu,and kavv catched  hunted 10 rabbits with our bows and arrows. And Nanu, and kavv hunted 20 birds with our homemade slings.Then, Bobby had to use our craved knife to cut the skin and the fur. Bobby and I had to sew the fur into clothes and measure the fur for our piluguqs,and palltuks.  Now I know how to make n e w clothes. The rabbit furs smelt like a flower.

Group 3

 

It was a coldy day and I didn't feel like going out. When I went to go visit my grandmother and it was winter time even though I was freezing I kept going "brr, I'm cold " while it rained. After, I made it to my grandmother's I told her to make me parka because I didn't have any and after I told her I went to go to my house to go get some clothes. In the morning I had to go see my grandmother and when I ran outside as the wind blew and I couldn't really breathe because the wind was blowing too hard "man I can't breathe good". Then, I made it to my grams and stayed there and helped her. As I went to my mom grandmother's house I heard my grandmother screaming my name to go see her and help and I had only one second to see her "Hurry up and come!" Said my grandmother, And to be with her over there. Me and my grandmother worked on my parka and then went to bed "Goodnight" I said and my gram said "Goodnight".

Group 4

     

  

             Today is June 15 2121, the at last we are preparing for the next I'm freezing winter. We still never go hunting. But for a while we heard a loud noise that sounded like an delicious animal, then when we went to go check it out it was a fat seal we didn't have time to eat the seal because we didn't want to forget what Lucy kassel had said. Then nikolai said the he" know how to make a harpoon for seal hunting". we got so hungry that our stomach couldn't stop dancing and crying toado loud , we had food for finally yumm.me and Vanessa had to cut the seal up and cook for us so that we can finish up our fur coats and finish making our beautiful piluguqs. Then me and Vanessa had to let the boys(Jayden and Nikolai) go hunt again to make more fur coats. Then they got ready, and put on their warm stuff now gather food so they would not get hungry, then they went to the sea and they came to the shelter with two fat seals and one beaver. Then me and Vanessa went to go cut all of them. Then we were ready for winter. Nikolai said "hurry up we need to get done with the harpoon so we can eat." All of us were hungry and when we saw a seal we got happy and hunted it. And we had a big fat seal so we don't get hungry.

 

 

 

Group 5

 

"We're going to freeze to death!" Carl said, "We need to wear warm clothes because the wind is howling." They had to dress warm because the stores didn't have dependable stuff,   "stores so cheap" said Dimitri.   " Well go hunting then", I responded. So, the men would go out hunting animals.carl and Dimitri went hunting with a sled. They used a home made bow nd arrow, made up with seal skin and caribou antler. "POW!", The big, brown moose fell like a ton of bricks. Carl was king of Kasigluk when he killed the moose. And when they get back, their women or wife would save the fur to make parka's, knee high skin boots, and pants. "Some would even sell the fur", I said.  So, if I wanted to survive, I would save some fur up to be warm. And they used cool, warm looking clothes. Although,  The animals they used fur for were birds, rabbit, Fox, and seal skin. We made enough clothes, and we got to even sell some.

Group 6

Teddy and I would go hunt fat and furry animal's such as beaver, foxes, and seals.Then we cut them and took  their hair and gave it to Hannah and Stephanie.They sewed them together and they made us coats,piluguqs and snowpants.Stephanie and Hannah were sewing the beaver fur so Teddy and I could be warm.So therefore,Dre and Teddy went to go hunt more animals so we can make more yupik clothes. But, Hannah and I would make lots of coats so that we have enough for other people. Feels good to know that we got to create us warm clothes so that we don't freeze to death or have others around us freeze to death. In the tundra it smelled like  berries all over.
